Chemotherapy as I understand it is a last resort and as a measure to help insure that the cancer does not come back. My wife had it. And I am on intermittent hormone blockade. Granted that chemo has a miserable track record but there sometimes isnt anything else. My wife possibly wouldnt be here if it hadnt been for chemo. Who knows, really?
But it bothers me that so many think that there is only one or two ways of dealing with cancer. It is easy to say "i would not do chemo IF I HAD CANCER" it is another thing when you DO.
I feel sorry for those who listen unquestioningly to their doctors thinking "if I have the chemo, radiation, surgery whatever" that's it, all I have to do."
It is like the smoker who after getting cancer does not stop. (I had one of those in the family too.)
THERE ARE OTHER things you can do. I know. I am doing them.

I strongly have the feeling that without volunteers, some projects can never be completed, especially in developing countries. This is a very wounderful initiative that hase to be looked upon with some positive considerations. I wish i had some one to strongly encourage me on my projects. T wish to say here that voluntary work is an engagement that needs commetment and patience.

I think that volunteers should be looked upon with some possitive considerations

I love beans...they have a meaty texture and they are very versatile. You can add them to almost anything.

I have been vegetarian for 41 years, although it hasn’t stopped me from becoming diabetic. I do feel quite healthy, however. I think I would have got it earlier as diabetes is in my family if I had been eating a so called normal diet.

I think the modern diet and lack of exercise are the biggest culpits.

When I was a child we all ate home-cooked meals that were nutrient dense. We had no cell phones and walked more.

Video games? no way, we were outside playing in the fresh air and sunshine. No sunscreen to block the vitamin D3.

Now people can barely walk from their car into a fast food joint. Well the dri-throughs don't help either. LOL
