Conventional Soy and Soy Products May Be Contaminated With Toxic Chemical Hexane

Category: chemicals + toxins, food + diet + nutrition, fruits + vegetables – All 4 Natural Health – 1:31 pm

Is soy a healthy food?

Yes, according to many. In fact, soy and soy products form significant portions of the diets of many vegetarians, vegans and health-conscious people. There are tofu burgers, soy milk, and what not.

However, on the flip side, there are also those who suggest that soy may cause a problem because of its hormonal content. Others say that genetically engineered soy has infiltrated the supply of organic soy. In other words, there no longer is any true and authentic organic soy; it has been contaminated.

Well, what we now may know is that conventionally produced soy and soy food products, i.e. those made from non-organic soy, may well be bathed with a toxic chemical known as hexane.

Yet another danger lurking in our food supplies.
